Many home improvement experts predict that 2016 will be the biggest year for bathroom remodels yet. What's on trend for 2016 bathrooms?
The white on white color palette will still be big, along with black and white bathrooms, but gray is still going strong for 2016.
Metals such as platinum, stainless, brushed nickel, polished chrome, and rose gold are the trend for fixtures and knobs.
Large, walk-in showers will replace tubs in many bathrooms. (Keep in mind that we can custom make Corian shower pans to fit any sized shower). If you still want a bathtub, freestanding bathtubs will be the way to go.
The popularity of vessel sinks is on the decline and will be replaced with undermount sinks, which are much easier to clean.
Luxury materials for countertops, such as Quartz, will be on the rise. Quartz material in the bathroom is not only virtually maintenance free, it's anti-bacterial so it's an excellent option. For a less expensive option, choose Corian for your countertops. There are many veined color options that mimic a marble look. Another nice thing about Corian countertops in a bathroom is that you can have a Corian integral sink installed into them as well.
